There are several ways that you can be active and participate in the Huntington Station BID.

How can you help?
Utilize the BID provided trash cans. We must physically clean up Huntington Station, by removing the trash and litter from our streets & sidewalks. As merchants, you are responsible for the upkeep of the property whether you own or rent. If you do not, you may be subjected to fines and penalties by the Town of Huntington Code Compliance.

Here are some guidelines:

1. Sidewalks and outside areas must be swept regularly
2. Trash and litter must be removed from your sidewalk
3. Snow and Ice must be removed from your sidewalk area
4. Use containers with heavy duty lids or strong garbage bags tied tightly
5. Cardboard needs to be flattened, bundled and separated from regular trash

*DO NOT use boxes to hold garbage
Garbage should be put out on the curb for pick up between 4:00pm and 4:45pm (no earlier)
There is no garbage pick up on Sundays and Holidays. Do not put the garbage out on those days.
With your help, we can make Huntington Station Business District a clean and attractive place to live and work.
